Which project are you most proud of?

I am most proud of the JSS Karel Doorman project in which I participated as a pipefitter. The Karel Doorman is a Joint-Support-Ship of the Dutch Royal Navy. It was a great experience to be involved in this project.

The thing I like the most about working at the shipyard is fixing and fitting the pipes that are used for the piping system on the ship

What is the most challenging part in your daily job?

The most challenging part of my job is to test the pressure of the piping system at 600 bar

Which skills do you need to have to be a successful craftsman in yacht-and shipbuilding?

As a pipefitter you have to be very accurate in your job. You have to be eager to learn and develop yourself all the time.
